Pregnancy is a miraculous and transformative experience for many women. It brings the joy of nurturing new life and the excitement of watching a tiny seed grow into a fully-formed human being.

However, it can also be a time of physical, emotional and mental challenges. From hormonal changes, to weight gain, to sleepless nights, to worrying about the health of the baby, pregnancy can be a rollercoaster of emotions.

Here are a few tips I learned through 2 of my pregnancies:


Make it acceptable to take it slow - Pregnant women often feel the pressure to keep up with their usual routine, including household chores. However, it's important for them to prioritize their own health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally. Taking it slow and giving themselves permission to rest can go a long way in reducing stress and promoting relaxation. Delegate tasks and ask for help when needed. Tell people about all the services you offer. Add lively images, catchy text and a call-to-action button to motivate customers to book now.

------------- Eat well, but also enjoy - While eating a good diet is essential for the growth and development of the baby, don’t stress too much about your food choices and don’t feel restricted. Allow yourself indulgences. I experienced severe nausea and vomiting. The only thing I could eat in the morning was Milo cornflakes, so I accepted that. There was no guilt and I had foods my body could manage to eat.


Get some activity in, even if you don’t feel like it - I know it can be hard at times. Both my pregnancies were very hard. I was barely eating and my mental health wasn’t the best. But getting that activity in, despite not feeling like it, made a huge difference to my mood and anxiety.
