When is the best time to schedule a sitter baby photoshoot?
Sitter Baby sessions are best booked from 6 to 9 months of age. Whenever your baby is comfortable to sit on their own unassisted, we can schedule a session for your baby.
How long does a baby photoshoot typically last?
Sitter baby photography sessions typically last 1.5 hours. If the baby is the happy sort, we may be able to finish even before the 1 hour mark.
What should my baby wear or bring to the session?
All dresses and props are provided for in our baby photography session. However, if you wish to incorporate a personal outfit in your baby pictures, you are more than welcome to bring them along. All the details will be discussed prior to the session during our consultation call.
Can I include family members or siblings in the baby photos?
Generally, all sessions include parents and sibling photos. If you wish to include any other extended family members in the session, I advise that you chat to me about it. Sometimes I may not be able to accommodate any more family members since baby sessions can get tiring for the babies. And getting extra images photographed can be a challenge and require extra studio time.
How many photos will I receive from the session, and how will they be delivered?

Can I request specific poses or props?
Yes, you definitely can, I include up to 3 props and styles for your baby's pictures. I usually have a consultation with my clients before the session so we can discuss your vision for the kind of images you want for your newborn baby. Any suggestions are most welcomed during our consultation.
What if my baby is fussy or doesn't cooperate during the session?
I have had the fussiest of babies and in all these years, I have never sent anyone back home, except one.
However, if your baby does refuse to settle down for the session, I will reschedule another time and date with you for your baby session.
How much should I expect to pay for a sitter baby photography session?
The session fee of $250 includes design consultation, setting up of the session and the actual studio shoot time. Session fee does not include your portrait photos. Photos and products will have to be purchased separately.

How can I prepare my baby for the sitter baby photography session?
I usually book baby photography sessions around the time when your baby would have had their nap and be fresh for a photography session. If they are hungry, feed them before you arrive at the studio. However, babies are unpredictable so fret not. We will take it as we go. You are more than welcome to feed your baby at the studio as well.
